Sarah is a Scottish visual theatre-maker and performance artist. After training at East 15 Acting School,  she was resident performer for contemporary gallery owner and art collector Nicholas Treadwell, pioneer of the Superhumanist Art movement. She then performed in a range of productions on the London pub theatre circuit before realising that acting wasn’t paying the bills.

Moving within London’s creative industries, Sarah gained experience working in the production department of publishing house Dorling Kindersley, latterly working as a researcher for Soho based Mentorn Media. It was shortly after this that she had an opportunity to create a room-set for a friend  who was working in a photographer’s studio, without realising that this was the spring board for her career as a freelance fashion stylist. Working in castings, production and locations, Sarah created the look for high end campaigns with clients including Saatchi & Saatchi, Tatler and Getty Images.

Having moved back to Scotland, she completed the Advanced Diploma in Physical Theatre Practice at Summerhall in 2019. Under the  mentorship of Al Seed and Melanie Jordan she created her first devised projects which were highly visual and filmed due to the covid lockdown. Today I Bake was shown digitally at MANIPULATE Festival 2021 and iRONS was selected for Insights Platforms 22.

Sarah performed her debut live (solo ) show Verity, at Brighton Fringe 2025 which was shortlisted for the Best New Show Award and received a 5 star review, She is currently in development for  a new show Wheezebag which expresses her lived experience of severe and chronic asthma.
